Updated: May 10
Last weekend, Shaky Knees 2024 rocked Central Park in Atlanta, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable weekend of music! The festival brought together a fantastic lineup of artists spanning various genres, from headliners like Noah Kahan, Arcade Fire, Weezer, Queens of the Stone Age, and Foo Fighters, to other popular rock bands like Young The Giant, Sunny Day Real Estate, Switchfoot, Pond, and so many more, the music was just incredible.
Day 1 was a total whirlwind of excitement.
Arcade Fire's performance of every song from their iconic Funeral album left fans with unforgettable memories. The headliner Noah Kahan's soulful set had us all feeling the love, and our interview with Switchfoot gave us a unique insight into their live performances. Pond surprised us with lead singer Nick Allbrook's unmatched energy, and The Revivalists closed out their set with a crowd-pleasing rendition of "Kid."
Day 2 was no different, with Weezer, Queens of the Stone Age, and Royal Blood bringing the house down. Holly Humberstone wowed us all with her talent and showed her bright future. And let's remember the festival's final day, headlined by the legendary Foo Fighters. Their performance was nothing short of epic, leaving us all wanting more. Billy Idol brought his signature rockstar charisma and Portugal. The Man, Matt and Kim, The Struts, and Men I Trust all delivered terrific performances to close the festival on a high note.
Shaky Knees 2024 was a triumph, with unforgettable performances reverberating through Central Park's trees, trails, and the Atlanta skyline. The atmosphere was electric, and it's no wonder the festival won the WLBC Best Festival Award in 2023. The Shaky Knees Fest is a dream come true for all rock fans.
